El Dorado, Arkansas

UNION MEETING OF SOUTH ARK.  ASSOCIATION IN MARCH

The Lord willing, Friendship Primitive Baptist Church at 348 Hinson Road, El Dorado, Arkansas will host the South Arkansas Union meeting the 4th weekend of March, 2003. It will also be Friendship church's third annual meeting time.

The union meeting officially starts Friday morning, March 21 through Sunday noon the 23rd. We plan to have services Thursday night, the 20th, also. There will be meals served each day starting Thursday evening about 5:00 p.m.

There are a number of hotels in the El Dorado area not far from the church. The church building is located on the south side of the Lion Oil Company's refinery, which is located on the south side of El Dorado, Arkansas.

Crescent, Oklahoma

ANNUAL MEETING IN MARCH 2003

Shiloh Primitive Baptist Church of Crescent, OK invites all to come and be with us at our annual meeting, starting on March 21, 2003, Friday evening with a sandwich supper at 5:30 to 6:30. The meeting will be all Saturday, March 22 and morning services on Sunday, March 23. Meals will be served. We have R.V. Hook-ups on the church grounds.

Elder Norman Jones, of Elk City, OK has consented to be our guest minister. We pray to have other ministers to attend.

Tyler, Texas

ANNUAL WINTER MEETING IN FEB. 03

The Tyler Primitive Baptist Church will hold its annual winter meeting on the fourth weekend in February. The arrangements for the meeting are for Elder Sonny Pyles of Graham, Texas, and Elder David Pyles of Jackson, Mississippi, to preach at these services.

The meeting will begin with services on Thursday evening, February 20, at 7:00 p.m. and conclude at noon on Sunday, February 23. Services will be held on Friday morning, afternoon and evening and on Saturday morning and afternoon. Meals will be served before the

Thursday and Friday evening services beginning at 5:30 p.m. and at noon on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The homes of church members will be open for lodging or if anyone prefers to stay in a motel, there are several nice ones in the area including the La Quinta Inn, 903/561-2223; Fairfield Inn, 903/561-2535; Hampton Inn, 903/596-7752, and Best Western Southpark, 903/534-8800. If anyone needs assistance with lodging or additional information, please call Linda Curran at 903/581-2315 or Melba Dumas at 903/848-8981.

If you wish to stay in a church member's home, please call ahead of time so we can accommodate as many as possible. There are several camper hook-ups available at the church grounds, which is located on FM 2493 [Old Jacksonville Highway] about two miles south of Loop 323 on the south side of Tyler. The Tyler Church seeks your prayers that this meeting will be blessed to the praise, honor, and glory of our God.
