Annual Meeting Nov. 1st -3rd
Welcome all to out First Annual Meeting here at Salem Primitive Baptist Church in Troup TX. On Hwy 15. Beginning with a sandwich supper before the gathering for singing at 7:00 pm on Friday and continuing through Sunday lunch.
All I can say is just come and see what the good Lord has in
store for us all. In hope that He will send preachers from everywhere we believe
that everyone has a special invitation.
Directions: for those that are coming toward Tyler it is best to get on the Loop
323 and go around to Hwy 110 toward Whitehouse - keep going till you get to
Troup Keep going till you come to a sign 135 to Arp - go 2 blocks and turn on
Hwy 15 which is Wright City Road. Go out side of city limits and the church will
be on the right with an iron rail in front.
Those from Longview, Kilgore & Henderson area get in Hwy 64 to Arp - go under the underpass toward Troup about 7-10 miles. Look for Hwy 15 Wright City Road. Turn left - go outside the city limit - church will be on the right.
From the Crockett area go down Hwy 21 to Alto - turn left on Hwy 69 to Rusk at 4 way stop - turn right - go to Hwy 135 to New Summerfiels go on through Troup - at 4 way stop turn right go about a block and a half and turn left on Hwy 135 go 2 blocks to Hwy 13 to Wright City Rd - Turn right and the church will be down the road on the right.
We are simple not new but we are happy and want to have a fellowship with all whom can come.

ANNUAL FALL MEETING IN NOV.
The Tyler Primitive Baptist Church invites you to attend its annual fall meeting on the third weekend in November of this year. The arrangements for the meeting are for Elder Sam Bryant of Allentown, Georgia, Elder Ronald Lawrence of Nashville, Tenn, and Elder Paul Trautner of Lexington, Kentucky, to preach at these services. We appreciate these ministers coming from such great distances to the Tyler Church and we pray that the Lord will richly bless them to preach the precious gospel to us.
The meeting will begin with services on Thursday evening, November 14, at 7:00 p.m. and conclude at noon on Sunday, November 17. Preaching services will also be held in the morning, afternoon and evening on both Friday and Saturday. Meals will be served at noon and before the evening services beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday and concluding at noon on Sunday.
The homes of church members will be open for lodging or if anyone prefers to stay in a motel there are several nice ones near the church, including the Best Western Southpark, 903/534-8800, Fairfield Inn, 903/561-2535, Hampton Inn, 903/596-7752, and La Quinta Inn, 903/561-2223. Motel reservations should be made early as there are several events in Tyler that weekend.
If anyone needs assistance with lodging or needs additional information, please call Linda Curran at 903/581-2315 or Melba Dumas at 903/848-8981. If you wish to stay in a member's home, please call ahead of time so we can accommodate as many as possible. There are also several camper hookups available at the church grounds, which is located on FM 2493 [Old Jacksonville Hwy] about two miles south of Loop 323 on the south side of Tyler. The Tyler Church seeks your prayers that this meeting will be blessed to the praise, honor and glory of our merciful Heavenly Father.

SEMI-ANNUAL COMMUNION MEETING
The Andrews Primitive Baptist Church would like to humbly ask everyone to our Semi-Annual Communion Meeting the second weekend of October. Our meeting times will be Saturday, the 12th at 10:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m and 6:30 p.m. On Sunday we will start our communion service at 10:30 a.m.
We will serve lunch after morning services on Saturday and will have the evening meal at 5:00 p.m. Sunday, we will serve lunch after our communion service is closed.
Elder Harley Stripland and Sister Ruby graciously agreed to be with us in our meeting. We welcome other ministers and every one who has a desire to come and join us at this time of worshiping our Lord.

Annual Meeting in October
HOUSTON PRIMITIVE BAPTIST CHURCH
The Houston Primitive Baptist Church, Houston, Texas would like to announce its Annual meeting to be held the fourth weekend in October, [Oct. 25-27]. God willing, services will begin Friday evening, continue all day Saturday, and conclude Sunday morning.
The Houston Church invites all that have a desire to come worship with us and rejoice in the Truths of the Gospel. For those unable to attend, we ask that you pray that the Lord may bless this meeting to His Honor and Glory.

First Primitive Baptist Church of Dallas announces
NOVEMBER 9, 2002
By means of this notice, all singers of shape-note music are cordially invited to attend the Dallas County Sacred Harp Singing to be held Saturday, November 9, 2002, from 9:30 am – 3:00 pm at the First Primitive Baptist Church at 1920 Gross Road in east Dallas. The Church is located on Gross Road, just off Peavy Road, which intersects Buckner Boulevard (Loop 12).
A covered dish lunch will be served at the church.
We hope you will join us in singing praises to our Lord through this beautiful traditional music.
