Grandfield, Oklahoma

125th Session of the Salem Association of Oklahoma

We, Union Church of Grandfield, Oklahoma extend a special invitation to each of you to attend the 125th Annual Session of the Salem Association of Oklahoma the third weekend in July. The meeting will begin Thursday night, July 18 and continue through morning services on Sunday, July 21, 2002. Services will be held at the Church in Grandfield located at 3rd and Simpson Streets. Grandfield is located on US Highway 70 about 30 miles northwest of Wichita Falls, Texas. From Highway 70 turn South at Simpson Street (at Senior Citizen Center) and proceed two blocks to the Church. Meals will be served in the Church dining room beginning with Thursday evening supper. Electrical and water hook-ups are available at the Church as well as at a trailor park a few blocks west of the Church. Motels are available in Wichita Falls, Texas and our homes are open to our visitors too. Union Church was constituted in July of 1909 and voted at the constitutional meeting to petition the Salem Association for membership at the Annual Associational Meeting the second Sunday weekend in August, 1909. The Church has been blessed to attend and participate in each of the 93 sessions that have followed. MULESHOE TO HOST ANNUAL MEETING 4TH SUNDAY IN AUGUST

The Muleshoe Primitive Baptist Church will hold an annual meeting the fourth week end in August, 2002.

The meeting will be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights only, and all day Saturday through Sunday noon. Elder Ricky Harcrow of Ider, Alabama will be with us at that time.

Meals will be served Saturday and Sunday.

124th Session

OLD HARMONY ASSN. IN JULY

The 124th Session of the Old Harmony Association will convene, Lord willing, at Lamkin, TX on July 11, 12, 13, and 14th, 2002, co-hosted by all the churches in the association.

We invite all our sister churches to be with us at this special time. We especially invite the ministers, who feel impressed to come and be with us. We need the love and fellowship of everyone. Come praying the Lord will be in our midst.

Meals will be served starting Thursday evening and continuing through Sunday lunch. There are camper hook-ups at the church grounds and motels in Hamilton and Comanche.

If you cannot attend, we ask for your prayers that the Lord will bless our meeting with His Spirit.

ANNUAL MEETING IN JULY

Ebenezer Primitive Baptist Church will, the Lord willing, host its annual meeting this year, embracing the 4th weekend in July, 2002. The meeting will begin Friday night, July 26. Supper will be served at 5:00 p.m. with singing and preaching to follow.

We extend an invitation to all to come worship with us during this special time. Most of all we pray the Spirit of the Lord will be with us and everything done to His honor and glory. Services will continue through Sunday noon.

There are camper hookups on the church grounds and there is Westworld Country Inn, 254/576-2541, if you prefer a motel.

ANNUAL MEETING AT OLD UNION

1ST WEEKEND IN JUNE

Lord willing our annual meeting this year will embrace the first weekend in June, beginning on Friday morning, May 31st, and ending with Sunday morning services. We have invited Elders Chuck Sammons from Texas and Mark Quarrels from Miss. to be with us.

We will serve lunch and supper on Friday and Saturday, and lunch on Sunday. Services will begin 10:00 a.m. on May 31st. If you need directions to Old Union near Hot Springs, Arkansas, please contact either Brother Lanny Tillery at 501/ 794-2089 or Elder Sonny Huckaby at 501/939-2262.

Our homes are open to you, however if you had rather stay at a motel, we can recommend the Village Inn at 501/922-9600. We are looking forward to the meeting and issue a warm invitation to come worship with us. Please join us in prayer that the Lord will shower down His mercy and blessings upon us.

ANNUAL COMMUNION MEETING IN JUNE

Bethlehem Primitive Baptist Church of Purcell, OK would like to announce our annual communion meeting the second weekend in June. We will begin with a sandwich supper at 5:30 Friday night, June 7th.; continuing through Sunday noon, June 9th. Elders Charles Sandage from Arkansas, and Vernon and Cecil Johnson from Texas have agreed to be with us.

The Church building is located by exiting west off I-35  exit 91 on the south side of Purcell onto Highway 74 toward Maysville. Go approximately 1.5 miles to the church sign. Turn left on Horse Rd., 1/2 miles to the church house. We have camper hookups at the church grounds; nearby motels, as well as our homes are available for you.

Please come praying that the Holy Spirit will be with us to own and bless.

SEMI-ANNUAL MEETING IN JUNE

Philadelphia Primitive Baptist Church, Big Spring, Texas extends a hearty welcome to all our friends to come and worship with us during the first weekend in June. Our Semi-Annual Meeting will be held this year on Friday night, May 31, all day June 1, and 10:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on June 2. ANNUAL MEETING IN JULY

Pilgrim's Rest Primitive Baptist Church of Duncan, OK will host our annual meeting the fourth weekend in July, beginning on Friday night at 5:30, July 26, 2002, concluding on Sunday, July 28, 2002 with the morning service.

Lunch and dinner will be served, beginning on Friday night at 5:30 and continue through Sunday noon. Our homes are open to visitors and there are hookups for RV's, and there are motels nearby.

ANNUAL MEETING IN JUNE

The Mt. Olive Primitive Baptist Church in St. Helens, Oregon announces the 2002 Annual Meeting of the Old Line Primitive Baptist Churches of the West Coast. The meeting begins on Thursday, June 27th at 7:00 p.m. and continues through Sunday morning services, June 30, 2002.

Meals will be provided at the church building with the assistance of the New Hope Primitive Baptist Church of Estacada, Oregon. The first meal is Thursday, June 27 at 5:30 p.m. There is room for several RV's on the site. ANNUAL MEETING IN JULY

Lord willing, we, the First Primitive Baptist Church of Santa Paula, will host our Annual Meeting the first weekend in July. The meeting will begin Thursday evening, July 4th and conclude Sunday, July 7th. Lord willing, Elder Bernard Gowens of Friona, Texas and Elder Chuck Sammons of Midland, Texas will be with us at this time.

ORDINATION SERVICE IN AUGUST

Lewisville Primitive Baptist Church announces the upcoming ordination service for Brother Bryce Lowrance to the office of Elder on Saturday, August 24, 2002. This service will be held at McKenzie Banquet Hall, 681 McKenzie St., Lewisville, Texas.

Directions from Dallas are: Take 135 north to Hwy 121 N. take a left onto Mill St. and turn right onto McKenzie. Services are beginning at 10:00 a.m. The ordination will begin at 2:00 p.m. following lunch.
