It is with such sadness in our hearts that we write the obituary of our dear Sister in Christ. She was called to be with our Heavenly Father in May of this year.
Sister Horn was born August 1908. She joined the Stratton Primitive Baptist Church by baptism in 1926. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Means and a son; Brothers, Sidney, Albert, Sam, and Earlie Morrow and a sister, Bertie Morrow Booth.
Sister Horn was the daughter of Marcus and Mollie Parker Morrow, who donated the land on which the Stratton Church is located.
We are content that her soul is resting with God, where we hope to rest also when our time comes, and to be with Him and all the dear saints who have gone before.
In loving memory and sadly missed by her family in Christ.

When Brother "Sid" was in the evening time of life, he began attending Little Flock Church in Elmore City, OK. His radiant smile and handshake allowed you to know he was not a stranger to his Lord nor to His gospel. Brother "Sid" gave you the impression that he had been away from home for just a little while, but is now feasting at the Master's table.
The day Brother "Sid" was baptized was a glorious day in God's house. Brother "Sid" was 77 years young when he was baptized in the Primitive Baptist Church at Elmore City. He was born August 8, 1917, and passed from this life June 7, 1999 at age 81.
On Jan. 9, 1966 he married Vera Burchan in Davis, OK. Brother "Sid" and Sister Vera, both had illnesses for sometime and they had to stop coming to church for a time, but they were always in a pleasant mood and was always encouraging to contend for the faith.
Words of comfort were by Elder Virgil Trout and his pastor, Elder Jerry Cottrell.
Brother Cottrell's text was 1 Sam. 20:18. He will be missed by his family and by his church family. God gave us a very special blessing in knowing and loving this gentle servant of God.
Final resting place was Elmore City Cemetery to await the coming of his Lord. He is survived by Sister Vera, one son, seven daughters and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren and a host of family and friends.

A beautiful ray of the sunlight of God's love entered your heart when you greeted Brother Ben. His love was a radiance to all those about him. Our lives were made richer in knowing this dear brother. When we page through our book of memories and come to his name, the first thoughts are a man of love, no unkind words, a man close to God, a true friend, unconditional devotion to family.
Brother Ben was born, June ll, 1930 and departed this life, March 8, 1999. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Wanda, his children; two brothers and his only sister. His other brothers and parents preceded him in death. We are so thankful for the love and care his daughter, Judy, gave to him and continues in devotion to her mother.
We know there will be no vacant seats in heaven, but where he sat is a great vacuum. He always expressed his love for the church and how he wished the word, "Love" was printed above the door, because when one entered love engulfed him. We continue in prayer for this dear family.
